Hasami Town Study Tour
Hasami Town is a historic town with plenty to explore. Hasami is famous for its pottery and ceramics industry, with a history spanning over 400 years.

First, we learned about the ceramics industry at Takayama Company in Hasami Town.
According to research, pottery is fired in large kilns for 22 hours.

Then I discovered beautiful porcelain and learned how to paint floral patterns on the fabric.

After lunch, we had the opportunity to make our own bowls using clay.

I was excited because it was my first time making something myself, but thanks to the teacher's guidance, I was able to create the exact vessel I wanted.

It was my first time making pottery myself, so I was excited, but thanks to the teacher's guidance, I was able to create exactly the pottery I wanted.
On the second day, we had the opportunity to visit a museum where we could learn about the history of the small town of Hasami.

The teacher's easy-to-understand explanations allowed us to learn about the area's history and interesting background.
After lunch, we had the opportunity to receive vocational training in the small town of Hasami.

I would like to express my gratitude to the teachers and other people involved who gave me the opportunity to learn about fields and careers that I was not familiar with.
