Part 1

Hasami Town is a historic village famous for pottery, with a history dating back 100 years.

Among the famous places there, we went to a place that makes Japanese teapots.

This place also has a history of over 100 years.

The craftsmen here taught us how to make it.

In the past, materials for making pottery could be sourced around here, but now they are shipped all the way from Amakusa in Kumamoto.

Part 2

The second must-visit place in Hasami is a long-established restaurant famous for its wood-fired pizza.

What's even more special is making this

Earlier, clay pots were made here.

This restaurant is also a lot of fun - run by grandparents who are in their 70s and 80s.

You can chat with them and even make pizza together.

You can do it if you work with them. Native students also had the opportunity to learn ancient Japanese.
