Participating in a life experience event held in Hasami Town

Today I participated in a life experience event held in Hasami Town. During this experience, I tried my hand at pottery and pizza making. In this article, I would like to summarize what I felt and experienced.

We started by making pottery. This process involves pouring the mud into a mold, shaping it, waiting for it to dry, and firing it in a kiln. It was my first time, so I was a little confused at first, but thanks to the teacher's careful guidance, the shape gradually took shape. I really like the feeling of pouring the mud into the mold and the joy of shaping it. And while waiting for the pottery to dry, it takes on a warm color and texture, and I'm moved that I made it myself. Through this experience, I learned the depth and precision of pottery.

Next, we tried making pizza. It was a simple process of kneading and stretching the dough, adding toppings, and baking it in the oven, but each step was really fun. The chewy texture of the dough and the freedom of toppings are appealing. The pizza I made with my friend was very fragrant (it was a little overcooked and a little dark, but still delicious), and it tasted even better because I made it myself. Through making pizza, I reaffirmed my appreciation for food and the joy of making it.

Living in Hasami Town gave me the opportunity to experience the local culture and traditions. Pottery and pizza making were not just a way to eat, but were something I enjoyed and was interested in more by making with my own hands. Furthermore, interacting with the local people allowed me to make new discoveries and learn new things.

I also really enjoyed interacting with my international friends. Everyone was very friendly and open. However, since this was my first time experiencing such a culture, I was a little nervous and couldn't express everything I was thinking.

From now on, I would like to actively participate in various life experiences in order to further improve my sensitivity and creativity.

I believe that being exposed to the local culture and traditions can enrich your life and broaden your horizons. Living in Hasami Town was a valuable experience for me.
